Description |
In the Church of St Mary
and St Helen are parts of five late Saxon crosses (four
shafts and one head). They are decorated and include
a figure of a priest, two figures fighting with daggers
and two horsemen as well as typical decorative motifs.
Part of one cross is now a lintel in the belfry. Also
within and around the church are four medieval grave
covers and a headstone. |
